Melissa Castrillón is a freelance illustrator and designer with a particular passion for print, pattern and punchy colour combos. She attended the Cambridge School of Art and gained a First class Honours Degree in Illustration in 2009 and a Masters degree in Children's book Illustration in 2014. Melissa is currently lives in Cambridge, England where she works with international clients on a range of projects, from Picture books to Home decor, Book covers to editorial.

Melissa is represented in the UK and the US by Pickled Ink Agency.

Her first picture book 'If i had a little dream' will be published with Simon & Schuster US, in February 2017. Her second picture book 'Che Bello' will be published with Italian publisher, Topipittori will also be published in february 2017.
